Stop BSI: Indiana Hospitals to Participate in 28-State Collaborative
Controlling and preventing infections is a patient safety priority for Indiana hospitals. A national initiative, called CUSP: Stop BSI, began last summer and duplicates the successful and widely publicized Michigan Keystone Center ICU collaborative to prevent blood stream infections.
Enrollment is still open. IHA and IPSC are encouraging all hospitals to get on board with this initiative. A variety of resources are available on the CUSP: Stop BSI Web site at www.onthecuspstopbsi.org
Hospital teams interested in participating in the Stop BSI project should contact Betsy Lee at blee@ihaconnect.org or 317/423-7795.
