IPSC IUPUI Inter-professional Course
Health Outcomes and Decision Making
The Indiana Patient Safety Center, The Indiana University School of Nursing, and the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at IUPUI offers a graduate course in evidence-based quality and patient safety during each spring semester. Graduate students in nursing, health administration, and public health care, as well as physicians may enroll.

Topics of the course include:
•Patient safety basics: Observing and creating a culture of safety
•Communication and complex adaptive systems
•Reliability and design
•Tools school: Methods and tools to reduce harm
•Reducing harm in specific areas of risk
•Leadership for patient safety
•Health policy perspective
•Leading transformational change

•And other invited guest faculty.
